Paladin of the Start
Service of the Almighty. Enforcer of the Will. Vanguard of Misfortune.

Righteousness
Become bound to the oath you have sworn—to make on earth what it is in the almighty’s will. Two choices. Sense when someone is acting misaligned, and gain +1 Saves and Attacks for 1 Hour. Or, know when Misfortune is bound toward someone, and have the discernment to take it on in their stead.
On meting justice to the misaligned or taking on Misfortune, roll 1d20. On 1–2, decrement your Misfortune (1d20 » 1d12 » 1d10 » 1d8 » 1d6 » 1d4). On decrementing a 1d4, suffer that many days of a coma, during which nightmares of all the deferred misfortunes loop. If you awaken, reset to 1d20.
Pride
When meting justice to the misaligned, become embroiled with Pride. While in this state, lose control of yourself and the ability to speak, using actions to communicate instead. Pain is the ultimate teacher, that cuts down disdain and teaches humility.
Visions blur your sight of the next hour, filled with the right timeline and the causers of misalignment. Prune and shear the odd ones out. Pierce guilt and submission to the rebellious. Purify.
Atonement
When the misaligned atone, and beg for mercy, give them the opportunity to do so. Redirect misfortune you have taken on to the penitent. Roll Misfortune. They must willingly sleep, and quietus make for that many days. However, feel and know their suffering during the coma.
Resurrection
Those who have atoned are sworn to the almighty, now knowing of his edict and will. The atoned kneel to you, and become beholden to your command. Their hearts soften and ache to fulfill the duties sworn to them and you, as long as they can take on Misfortune for the rest of their life.
